Randy Sims graduated from the School of Business at Eastern Illinois University. He double-majored in HR Management and Marketing. While at Eastern, he was elected President of the American Marketing Association, was one of only two students in the College chosen to sit on the College Curriculum Committee, and sat on the Dean’s Advisory Board.
After six years in retail management, he entered the recruiting industry. In a 13 year period, he worked for two of the largest staffing companies in the US. There, he consistently ranked in the top 10% of his peers, and even ranked as high as the top 3% in corporations exceeding 2,500 employees. He was a certified trainer in both organizations, conducting national field training for recruiters and leading national corporate training sessions.
Randy now brings his abilities to lead Sims Executive Search and go after the goal of being the most respected recruiting firm who delivers the highest level of service in the industry. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Mid America Association of Personnel and Staffing Services. It's mission is to provide continued training and development to those in the recruiting and staffing industries.
He is also very tied to his community and has served on the Executive Board and Board of Directors for the National Kidney Foundation, is involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and serves in several areas of his church.
